Right-left structure, sun and moon
The right (sun) - left (moon) structure is unified in the Tree of Life.

In reality, there is no right and left, there is only a Sense which seeks to express itself, and a vehicle more or less capable to translate it...
The noumenal is the right, the phenomenal is the left, “phenomenon” meaning etymologically “that which appears, that which shines like a spark”.

The right-left structure is therefore established in relation to the Tree; on its right, life: the flowers under the sun; on its left, death: the withered plants under the moon.

The 4 rivers of the Garden of Eden mentioned in Gen. II, 10 come out of the foot of the Tree.
Above him, the Eagle, symbol of the power of the creative Word.

The Tree is at the top of the mountain that rises from the primordial waters. Right-left structure: sun and moon. Likewise, at the foot of the Tree, the serpent and the guardian lion. The white phoenix, symbol of rebirth, repels the black birds that attack it and symbolise the evils of creation, outside the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life.
